How it works

Wear your watch, and it paints your day for you

Your Apple Watch tracks heart rate, sleep and activity; your iPhone tracks screen use. Moodji paints one block every 10 minutes and stitches them into a whole-day Life Canvas — 144 blocks a day, your ups and downs at a glance.

  • One block every 10 minutes144 blocks a day, faithfully recording what happened in each stretch.
  • A Moodji every hourAn emotional hourly status — this is the you it sees.
  • No check-insNo journaling, no manual entry — wear your watch and it records for you.

Not like journal apps

Its “done” is something you can actually verify

Fully automatic, zero input

There’s nothing to log by hand. Habits, states and streaks are all decided automatically from your health data.

Every conclusion is traceable

Everything you see drills down to raw behavior — a journal app’s “done” is what you declared; Moodji’s can be checked.

Aim low, not high

Thresholds always take the lenient side; any single hour that hits counts. Showing up every day matters more than what you do.

Understands you without your location

Reminders like “heads up while walking” are inferred from steps and screen use — no location tracking. If existing data can figure it out, we don’t ask for more privacy.

See your energy, any moment

FAQ

About Moodji

Do I have to check in every day with Moodji?

No. Moodji has no manual check-in or logging at all — wear your Apple Watch and it records your day automatically from your health data and screen use.

Can I use Moodji without an Apple Watch?

Yes. An iPhone alone can track activity, steps and screen use; data from Samsung, Garmin, Huawei or Xiaomi watches also works as long as it syncs to Apple Health.

Does Moodji collect my location?

No. Moodji never requests location permission or collects GPS. Reminders like “heads up while walking” are inferred from steps and screen use, without location.

How is Moodji different from Apple Health?

Apple Health gives you raw data and charts; Moodji turns that data into a whole-day visual Life Canvas and an emotional hourly status, focusing on how your day felt rather than how precise the numbers are.

Is Moodji free?

It’s free to download and use. Advanced features like the real-time Body & Mind Battery and weekly/monthly insights require a membership.

How does Moodji decide I’ve completed a habit?

It’s decided automatically from Apple Health and screen data, with lenient thresholds — any single qualifying hour in the day counts, with no need to be continuous or all-day.
